Happy November! It's Blue Blood Metal's birthday month! :) I cannot believe it's been a year since our beginning. Although November is "stick" season in Vermont (wa...wa...), it will not prevent us from celebrating! Since it's also my birthday month (another wa...wa...) I thought I'd share about November's birthstone, Topaz.

The most valuable topaz, Imperial (my fav) has an alluring orange color with pinkish undertones....a fitting color for fall.

This gemstone is available in many beautiful shades; yellow, pink, orange, blue, red, violet, green and purple. Swiss blue is the top selling. Blue Topaz is also thought of as December's birthstone (along with Turquoise.)

Did you know that wearing your birthstone on the month of your birth is said to increase it's healing benefits? Such as November's other birthstone, Citrine, the healing quartz. I haven't tried wearing Citrine this month, but I will now. :) In case you can't remember yours, here's a chart.
