Kick off to Christmas!

It's that time of year for burning cinnamon candles, roasting chestnuts and bringing out your boots & faux fur - WINTER!  As I am a Floridian it's difficult to understand this phenomena of seasons.  However...as I am a northerner at heart, I LOVE IT!  I kicked off the holiday festivities with the Junior League of Champlain Valley's annual holiday party.   I have been a volunteer of JL for five years now (starting with JLFM) and continue to enjoy what the Association of Junior Leagues offers.  This organization is committed to developing the potential of woman through trained volunteerism and improving communities through effective action and leadership of these volunteers.  After my league in Florida I found a home in the Junior League of Champlain Valley.

Since most of our official meetings are done with, it was time to CELEBRATE!  Our President Sarah DeShaw welcomed us into her beautiful home where our league had fun, contributed to the Howard Center & were forced to play a yankee swap (joking).  What a great way to break the ice & enjoy each others company.  Here are some photo's of our exciting evening!
